Our youth ministry motto is "Church was not meant to be boring!" Even Jesus said, "I have come that you may have life and have it to the FULLEST!" Church should be a place that is more fun and more irresistable than anything else this world can offer.

Aviation Student Ministry is not only fun, it's a place for 6th-12th grade students to feel loved, accepted, and spiritually motivated. We have three services weekly: Departure is Wednesday nights at 5:00PM for middle school and 7:00PM for high school, Connection is Sunday mornings at 9:45AM, and Arrival is Sunday nights at 6:00PM. All services meet inside our Family Life Center.

Departure is the beginning point, where most students get started in church activities. This service includes high-energy games, comical videos, worship, and a message from Student Minister Reid Johnson. Departure is also our most attended youth service, with over 50 attendees per age group.

Connection is like a connecting flight: it's not the departure and you're not yet arriving; it's IN THE MIDDLE. This service includes the "Chair of Affirmation", the Toilet Toss (you have to see it to understand), and Bible Study led by various adult volunteers. You will also get a chance to "connect" with other students your age in deeper discussions about the topics being taught.

Arrival is meant to get you as close to our destination as possible: Jesus Christ. This service is one full hour of studying God's word. Oftentimes, Student Minister Reid Johnson will choose scriptures to study which challenge his own faith. His philosophy is, "You can only lead a student as far as you've gone yourself." Bring your floaties; it might get deep.
